Northchase ESL & English Bible Study 5-19-09

We had an awesome turn out yet again!  Nancy Henderson provided a wonderful cake that was totally consumed, and we always welcome anyone to bake, cook, or bring refreshments for our famished stomachs. Roberto taught and led the ESL tonight; he did an excellent job, so hats off to Roberto.  Tonight was week 10, and we studied weather and exercise/sports.  In all, there were about 25-30 adults and 5-8 children there for the ESL.

The Bible study went off without a hitch, and we continue to pray for these people.  There were about 20-25 adults and a 3-5 children that remained there for the Bible study, so praise God for that! We continue to go through Romans, and we dove into Romans 2:1-11 tonight focusing on God's impartial judgment.  Christ alone can clean our hearts; truly, our own efforts amount to nothing but filthy rags. May the Lord continue to use us as effective instruments to move the hearts of these Latino & Nepali people.  May they turn to worship Christ and be saved from sin and eternal death.

To Him be all the glory, honor, and praise! Let us glorify Christ the Lord, He who is Lord of lords and King of kings! Amen!
